Decades drama project scrapped

14 Jan 10

The BBC’s most ambitious drama project Decades has been reduced from a £25million 30-episode series to just three shows reports The Guardian. The original plan was to cover three decades of recent British history, but will now cover just the 1980’s.

The new mini-series of 90-minutes shows will cover the Royal Wedding written by Abi Morgan, an adaptation of Martin Amis’s novel Money starring Nick Frost and a biopic to be announced.
