Profile: Camilla Lewis

Camilla joined talkbackTHAMES in the autumn of 2005 as Head of Factual Features. During this time, Camilla has executive produced new series that include: Hospital Heroes, Neil Morrissey's Risky Business, Life or Death, Digging Deep, Neneh and Andi Dish It Up, Manhunt and Scam Squad, as well as overseeing talkbackTHAMES’s long-running success shows including Grand Designs, Property Ladder, How Clean Is Your House and Escape to the Country.
Previously an Executive Producer for the BBC’s Specialist Factual department, Camilla was responsible for shows including Trauma, Little Angels and Should I Worry About….’. Camilla rose to this role following her success as Head of Factual for CBBC, where she commissioned and executive produced all of the department’s factual output including BAFTA and RTS award-winning Serious Jungle (Bruce Parry).
Prior to her success at the BBC, Camilla worked for Central Television, Barraclough Carey, David Frost, GMTV and Planet 24 starting her career in television as a runner by day and a dancer for Channel 4’s The Word by night!
Camilla graduated from Oxford Poly with a BA in Literature/Visual Studies in 1992, lives in London with her husband and 4 children and enjoys Pilates, cycling and Japanese food.
