About me

When I was 15 I was in a band called Genie Queen with two other girls, Lauren Blake and Abbey Clancy. It was funded by the founder of Atomic Kitten and front-man of OMD Andy McClusky. For nearly three years we travelled the world recording in LA and Stockholm and did hundreds of gigs. After getting so close so many times to getting signed, after a long time of hard work we decided to call it a day. That’s when I started presenting. When I was in the band we would often meet people from all walks of life all the time. I'm a really nosy person and interested in what people have got to say so I decided to get into presenting. I started working with small independent film companies doing mainly music presenting or culture stuff. I interviewed about thirty newly signed and unsigned acts for the South by South West Music festival in Texas. The new Echo Arena in Liverpool hosted a Liverpool Number Ones Show and I interviewed all the acts back stage including Hollyoaks Girls, X Factor Atomic Kitten, Coronation Street actors, Gerry Marsdon, Echo and the Bunny Men and loads more. Aside from music presenting I’ve done some stuff for an artist called Antony Brown, talking to him about how he got started and going through the process of how he creates a piece of art. I also worked as a runner on Mersey TV's Hollyoaks for a few months to gain an insight of how things work behind the camera which really helped me. Also having recently been on Shipwrecked it’s helped understand how cameras work. I've done a lot of vox pops and pieces talking to camera.
