About me

Not that I am one to talk about myself but (!)....my name's Joel Kafetz, I have been working in television for 11 years and I love it. Until now I have worked behind the scenes. From the moment I saw Philip Schofield and Sarah Greene on the first ever Going Live Saturday morning kids show I knew that I wanted to be a presenter, I just didn't believe I could do it. Last year I was asked to present some internal communications films for BBC Scotland and they went well. This year I am leaving BBC Scotland after eight years. I am now focusing on presenting and comedy writing and performing. Earlier in the year I took Glasgow's stand up comedy circuit by storm and I am currently in the middle of the acclaimed Logan Murray comedy course in London. I have bags of energy and enthusiasm and I am very excited about the future. "The only was is up" as Yazz and the plastic population once said!
