Francis Ridley

Francis Ridley is Managing Director of Money.  He began his career at the BBC in 1992 working as a researcher on Friday Night With Wogan and Wogan Specials. From 1993 to 1995 he was a Producer on Channel 4’s The Word (and Series Producer of The Best of the Word in 1999). He moved to MTV Europe in 1996 initially to produce Davina McCall on the live entertainment show Hanging Out. During his three year tenure at MTV, he became an Executive Producer of MTV Europe, responsible for MTV News, MTV Movies and all the networks music shows. Then as Director of Programming and Production for MTV UK, he oversaw and developed the careers of new television talent such as Cat Deeley, Edith Bowman, June Sarpong and Trevor Nelson.
His other producing credits have included Jo Whiley (Channel 4), MOBO Awards (Channel 4) and The Players Club (BBC2/3).
