Sharon Horgan is an award-winning writer, actress and comedy performer.
She began her comedy career when she won a BBC New Comedy award with her writing partner Dennis Kelly. The comedy show Pulling , which Sharon co-wrote was first broadcast in 2006 and was nominated for the BAFTA for Best Sitcom, a second series was broadcast in March 2008. Sharon was nominated for Best Female Comedy Newcomer at the 2007 British Comedy Awards for her role in Rob Brydon's Annually Retentive. Her other credits include writing for The Friday Night Project and sketch show Monkey Dust as well as writing and starring in the sitcom Angelo's. Sharon has also appeared in the feature film Imagine Me and You, and provided a voice in the animated film Valiant.
