The Mighty Boosh creators Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding have signed a deal with BBC Films to bring the cult programme to the silver screen. The two writers, who also star in the show as Howard Moon and Vince Noir in the show are currently working on a script and are hoping to start filming next year. The programme follows the surreal adventures of the two characters who work in a record shop. Noel Fielding is hoping to cast Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger and '80s popstar Gary Numan in the film. 'We wanna make something pretty epic like The Wizard Of Oz; something huge and psychedelic with lots of music and animation in it. A big epic fantasy world.' he went on to say.
