"A judge has branded The Jeremy Kyle Show "a form of human bear-baiting" at a court case in Manchester.District Judge Alan Berg said the ITV1 daytime programme was "trash" and existed to "titillate bored members of the public with nothing better to do"."

Yes, it obviously is - but I always find something a bit meaner about the sort of fly-on-the-wall shows where a production team has had to go to somebody's house, stay with them for a while, insert themselves into family life, knowing they are going to turn them over later... |
