It was a realy nice event.

It was a pleasure talking with Davina and Phil. They have great experience and a pleasure to learn new things from them.

I didn't mind the reception, as I went there for the event and not for food. I left with good information and I received a lot of encouragement, specialy from Davina. I enjoyed the evening, and I hope to see more.

It would have been nice to have more than 10 min of Q&A. Maybe 30 min would have been great.

It would be good to see events where, as James said, it would give beginners the opportunity to know how to get in the industry, and even maybe an opportunity to leave CV's and get business cards. It would realy be good to speak with them directly and also see what they expect when they receive emails with CV's. Tips for us the beginners.

Great night out! Very productive! We want more!!! :)

It was a good evening overall, the talk was interesting though it could have been a bit longer.

Also, I think it should have been a bit more focused on being either an event for beginners wanting to know how to get in to the industry, or an event for people with a bit more experience who want to really get a grasp on producing talent. I personally felt that I heard nothing new, and for a £10 ticket you do want to leave having felt that you've got something from it.

A full english breakfast on entry would have been nice, bar that, as usual I left with a little more 'industry know-how' then I did when I came in.

The best things that I learnt as a future presenter:

DAVINA MCCALL - "I was annoying MTV for 3 years before I was given a job!" Gentle persistence pays off. (I'll keep at it then)

PHIL EDGAR-JONES - "find out who is looking for talent and target them" (I'll keep at it then)

Improvements:

- Give us more then ten minutes to ask them questions. They could be speaking for hours without addressing some of the things that many in the audience may have wanted to know.

- Maybe throw in a Speed Networking session by starting a little earlier (I could organise it if you want?)

- A full english breakfast on entry

Overall, another good night with some good contacts made.

I thought that the event was really interesting and would say the only improvement would have been an extra 30 minutes - an hour seemed to go so quickly!

I'd be really interested to go to more of these events, particularly if you could do a similar one for perhaps how you get into the sports side of things. Sport tends to work quite differently, in my experience, to other genres - so would be interesting to see the inside opinion and others' experience.
