How to Create a Hit Show that Talks to Young People
If you believe the press reports, young people appear to be switching off TV in their droves and yet in the past 12 months we have also seen examples of content for the young that has achieved breakout success.
Is there a formula for creating good youth content? What are the key ingredients? And why are we all so afraid of this audience anyway?
We talk to the people who are getting it right to find out a thing or two about how its done.
The evening will be hosted by The Guardian TV editor Gareth McLean. Special guest speakers include Skins creator Bryan Elsley, MySpace Senior Vice President for International Marketing and Content Jamie Kantrowitz, commissioning editor for BBC THREE Karl Warner and executive producer of Big Brother Phil Edgar-Jones.
